Detailed Daily Routine for NDA Aspirants at Manasa Defence Academy

Success in the NDA requires discipline, consistency, and the right guidance. At Manasa Defence Academy, every day is carefully structured to develop physical fitness, academic excellence, and officer-like qualities in students.

Early Morning – Physical Training

The day starts at 5:00 AM with wake-up and preparation for physical training. By 5:30 AM, cadets assemble on the ground for PT sessions conducted by experienced instructors and retired defence personnel.
Training includes:

  • Long-distance running

  • Sprint drills

  • Push-ups, sit-ups, and chin-ups

  • Obstacle training

  • Stretching and flexibility exercises

This session builds stamina, strength, endurance, and mental toughness, which are essential for NDA and SSB selection.

Morning Routine and Breakfast

After PT, cadets return to the hostel, freshen up, and have a nutritious breakfast at around 7:30 AM. Proper diet and hygiene are strictly maintained to support the students’ physical growth and energy levels.

Academic Classes – Written Exam Preparation

From 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, students attend academic classes for NDA subjects:

  • Mathematics

  • English

  • General Knowledge

  • Current Affairs

Experienced faculty members focus on concept clarity, regular practice, and weekly tests to track student performance. Doubt-clearing sessions help students improve continuously.

Lunch and Short Rest

At 1:00 PM, students have lunch followed by a short rest period. This break helps them recharge for the afternoon activities.

Afternoon – Drill and Outdoor Training

From 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, cadets participate in:

  • Parade and drill practice

  • Marching techniques

  • Team activities

  • Sports like volleyball, football, or running drills

These activities develop discipline, teamwork, coordination, and leadership qualities.

Evening – Study Hours and Personality Development

From 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, students attend:

  • Supervised study hours

  • Revision sessions

  • English speaking practice

  • Stage speech training

  • SSB interview guidance

This session focuses on confidence building, communication skills, and personality development, which are crucial for SSB success.

Dinner and Night Routine

Dinner is served at 8:30 PM, followed by light relaxation or self-study.
By 10:00 PM, lights are off to ensure proper rest, as recovery is important for both physical and mental performance.
